Pinnacle Engineering, Inc. provided design services for new mechanical and plumbing systems for the complete renovation of 744,324 SF in two office buildings built in 1988 – Colonnade Towers North and South – which have recently been leased by the Southern Company. The project transformed these buildings into a state-of-the-art corporate campus for Southern Company employees. Renovation included the replacement of 4 water-cooled chillers, 32 custom-built air handling units, VAV terminal units, ductwork, controls and all plumbing fixtures. Total construction cost for these improvements was approximately $45 million.
