Renovation of an existing 34,700 SF office building for Bloodworth in Tuscaloosa. The renovation included gutting the entire building in multiple phases. Interior spaces included office space, break rooms, large administrative conference rooms and collaboration spaces. The mechanical system included roof mounted DX air handlers with variable volume units in the space with electric reheats for zone control. The existing sanitary and domestic water systems were reworked to accommodate the new layouts. Phasing was scheduled to allow for sections of the building to be occupied without being disturbed or interrupted while construction was ongoing until the building was complete.
